Good running posture is like good posture in general: Stand up straight, shoulders relaxed and ever so slightly back, with the chest also ever so slightly puffed out (kind of a proud look, but don’t overdo it.) Running is a controlled fall. You want to lean forward ever so slightly, but NOT AT THE WAIST, lean from the ankles keeping everything else in line and straight. This is a common problem where you see runners hunched over at the waist like the hunchback of Notre Dame–bad. In whatever discipline I think it’s good to look at the individuals performing at the highest level, observe commonalities, and try to emulate what the professionals are doing.
